Problem Description

We have had a couple of users write to us that they had problems when they compiled the applications using the Solaris library with the newer version 2.6. The problem appears as a segmentation fault when the simulator is run with the application executable compiled with the newer libraries.

Suggested work-around

Until the time we get to look at the code for the 2.6 library, it is recommended that all users continue to compile the applications with the Solaris 2.5 library.
